When Keeley contacted me to be her wedding photographer I was very excited. I knew Keeley from school, a million years ago, so I was keen to meet up and see how she was after all these years and to meet her fiancé! As you can see from the photos Keeley never stopped smiling the whole day, and even though she said Karl never smiled for photos, I managed to crack a few with my lame jokes so I was pretty proud of myself for that! Their wedding was held in Autumn at Glendhu Station in Wanaka and they were the venues 100th wedding to date! I had never photographed here before so I was very excited as I knew the ceremony views were insane and it did not disappoint! We were lucky to have freakishly early snow on the mountains from the day before and a stunning blue sky day for the wedding! The venue has so many sweet locations for bridal party photos that we were spoilt with choice and views! I loved the little touches the couple brought to the wedding like Keeley’s dad made the beer they were drinking. And during dinner there was a fake beard that matched Karls beard stuck to the bottom of a chair at each table, and that person had to wear it and serve the food which was hilarious!! Thank you so much for having me capture your beautiful day and epic party, it was such a privilege capturing these memories for such awesome people! xx
